Overview
Colorectal cancer affects the colon and rectum and is rising in India. Screening finds it early, and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery allows removal with smaller incisions and faster recovery. Dr. Bung specialises in laparoscopic GI and colorectal oncosurgery.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a permanent stoma?
Most patients do not. Many colorectal surgeries preserve normal bowel function; when a stoma is needed it is often temporary.
How is keyhole surgery better?
Laparoscopic surgery uses small incisions, meaning less pain, lower infection risk and a shorter hospital stay.
